To ensure the safety of country craft fishermen while fishing, Government provides life jackets to motorized country crafts in Tamil Nadu with 75% subsidy assistance.
a. The Boat should be insured and registered under Tamil Nadu Marine Fishing regulation Act 1983, also obtained the fishing licence.
b. Boat should be involved in fishing activities.
c. Shall be a member of Fishermen Co-operative Society.
1. Copy of Registration certificate of the fishing boat registered under the Tamil Nadu Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1983.
2. Copy of the boat insurance document.
3. Copy of the certificate for fishing license.
4. Copy of the photograph for Country craft.
5. Copy of Aadhaar card
