Fishermen Savings- cum-Relief Scheme

The beneficiary has to contribute Rs. 1,500/- @ Rs. 175/- per month for the first eight months and Rs.100/- on the ninth month. An amount of Rs.3,000/- will be borne by State Government. The total amount of Rs.4,500/- will be disbursed during the three months of fishing lean period.

Eligibility Criteria to avail the assistance

a . The beneficiary should be within the age group of 18 to 60 years, member of Fishermen Cooperative Society and engaged in full-time fishing.

b. Fishermen / fishermen family members having regular employment or indulging in any other income generating activity shallnot qualify.

c. The beneficiary should be a member of Fishermen Co-operative Society

d. The beneficiary should be Below Poverty Line (BPL).

Documents to be enclosed by the applicant

1. Application form

2. Copy of fishermen Bio metric identity card

3. Copy of the photograph affixed in the first page of bank passbook

4. Certificate for membership in Fishermen Cooperative Society

5. Copy of BPL certificate.

6. Copy of Aadhaar card

7. Copy of Smart Ration card

8. Copy of enrolment through the e-seva center
