An amount of Rs.6,000/- is being given to Marine fishermen family as special relief assistance during the fishing lean period.
a . The beneficiary should be a member of Fishermen Cooperative Society / Tamil Nadu Fishermen Welfare board and engaged in full-time fishing / allied fishing activities.
b. The beneficiary should possess a valid ration card.
c. Fishermen / Fishermen family members having regular employment or indulging in any other income-generating activity shall not qualify under this scheme.
