The beneficiary has to contribute Rs.1,500/- @ Rs.175/- per month for the first eight months and Rs.100/- on the ninth month. The State Government will contribute Rs.3,000/-per fisherwomen, totalling a sum of Rs.4,500/- will be given as a relief to the fisherwomen during the lean period of 3 months.
a . The beneficiary should be within the age group of 18 to 60 years, member of Fisherwomen Cooperative Society and engaged in full-time fishing and its allied activities.
b. Fisherwoman/ fisherwoman family members having regular employment or indulging in any other income generating activity shall not qualify under this scheme.
c. The beneficiary should be a member of Fisherwomen Co - operative Society
d. The fisherwomen beneficiary should be Below Poverty Line (BPL).
